Children's Services Plan 2002 - 2004

The Children’s Services Plan 2002-2004 has been prepared in conjunction with the Health Service in Forth Valley, Central Scotland Police, the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration, Voluntary Organisations, the Independent Sector and Service Users.

This Plan covers the full range of services to children and families, including Sure Start Scotland, early education and child care, social work and services to children including adoption, fostering and residential care. The Plan also incorporates material on youth justice, draws from Education and Community Learning Plans and sets out proposals for allocation of the Changing Children’s Services Fund in Clackmannanshire.

The service areas covered in the Plan are as follows:

  • Services to Looked After Children (including Fostering, Residential Provision, Through Care and After Care)
  • The Adoption Service
  • Services to Children with Special Needs (Physical, Sensory and Learning Difficulties)
  • Services to Children with Special Needs (Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties)
  • Keeping Children Safe (including Child Protection, Domestic Abuse and Substance use)
  • Young Carers
  • Services to Young People in Trouble with the Law
