Integrated Children's Services Planning

"Children are our future"

The first 2005-2008 Children's Services Plan was published for Clackmannanshire in May 2005.

This plan and its outcomes were reviewed and evaluated leading to the publication of the 2008-2010 Children & Young People's Integrated Services Plan. The 2010-2013 plan is currently under review. It is intended that there will be joint plan with Stirling Council beyond 2013.

You can download these plans from this page or you can request it in another format.

The plan sets out our own and local partner agencies' joint priorities and improvement objectives for all children, young people and their families in Clackmannanshire until 2010. It is intended to be a driver for change and links together relevant policies and focuses on the better integration and provision of services which have a positive impact on children and young people.

The 2013 plan was produced in partnership with NHS Forth Valley and a wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies including Central Scotland Police, the Authority Reporter, Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface, carers, parents and importantly, children and young people.

Our Vision

"That every child and young person has the best possible start in life and achieves their potential".

In order to achieve our vision, we will work to the following priorities:

Children's Services Planning

The Integrated Children's Services Plan is being steered by the Children and Young People's Partnership Team, which consists of representation from each of the key service areas. The Integrated Children's Services Plan feeds in to the Community Plan and Single Outcome Agreement (SOA) and links with other relevant strategies such as the Corporate Parenting Strategy and Joint Health Improvement Plan.

Key national drivers are GIRFEC and the Early Years Framework.
