Regeneration Outcome Agreement
The Regeneration Outcome Agreement, or ROA as it is known, is a document which sets out a regeneration strategy for those areas of Clackmannanshire which come within the most deprived 15% of areas in Scotland.
In Clackmannanshire's case, those areas covered by the ROA are:
- Alloa South & East (former SIP area)
- Tullibody
- part of Sauchie
- part of Coalsnaughton & Devonside
3 additional ROA areas were also identified in 2006.

ROA Objectives
The ROA has 3 main objectives with their associated outcomes, are:
Community Safety
- Reduced fear of crime and antisocial behaviour both inside and outside the home
- Reduction in crime
- Making the public environment safer and more attractive
Economic Development
- Increased economic activity rates
- Increased enterprise through investment and supporting business growth
- Enhanced skills and qualifications
Improving Health
- Increase in the number of people exercising healthier food choices
- Increase in levels of participation and access to safe opportunities for physical activity
- Reduction in number of smokers
- Reduction in drugs misuse
- Increase in proportion of P1 children with no obvious dental disease
- Improved mental health and wellbeing
