Alva War Memorial
This memorial is situated in an elevated position in the Cochrane Johnstone park off centre adjacent to the northern boundary with Beauclerc Street.
The memorial comprises a stone Celtic cross on oblong shaft, plinth and stepped base. Head of winged cherub, raised, in stone on front face of plinth with bronze sword of sacrifice planted on front of the column shaft.
