Burial Ground Charges
Detailed below are Burial Ground charges for Clackmannanshire Council effective from 1st April, 2008.
Purchase Right of Burial
- Purchase of exclusive Right of Burial Coffin Lair - includes lair certificate: £370.00
- Purchase of exclusive Right of Burial Cremation Lair: £200.00
Advanced Purchase Right of Burial
- Sale of Coffin Lairs in advance: £555.00
- Sale of Coffin Lairs to People living outwith Clackmannanshire: £648.00
- Sale of Cremation Lairs in advance: £300.00
- Sale of Cremation Lairs for people outwith Clackmannanshire: £350.00
- Transfer Certificate of Right of Burial: £35.00
- Duplicate Certificate of Right of Burial: £35.00
Interments
- Adult Interment: £355.00
- Child up to 18 years: FREE
- Stillborn Baby: FREE
- Interment of Cremation remains: £100.00
- For each additional foot beyond 6 feet: £50.00
- Exhumation Fee: Incurred Costs
Monuments And Memorials
- Locate and excavate for foundations: £75.00
- Where no digging is required: £35.00
- Concrete Foundation: £135.00
Search Fee
- Search of burial grounds records (per occasion): £25.00
Notes
- The above charges for burials will apply on weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 9.30am to 3.00pm, including public holidays. Burials outwith these hours will only be permitted in special circumstances and will be subject to a surcharge.
- Where more than one interment occurs simultaneously in a single lair the charge shall be for one interment only.
- Sale of Lairs in advance is restricted where available ground in a cemetery is reduced to 15 years.
