Clackmannanshire's Awards 2008
The Provost of Clackmannanshire is hosting a joint Award Ceremony to recognise the dedication and commitment that local people and groups make to help improve the quality of life in Clackmannanshire.
There are four different categories of awards:
Citizen of the Year - sponsored by the Lord Lieutenant's Trust. Awards to 10 finalists sponsored by Orange and Glencairn Crystal
Sports Council Awards - sponsored by Clackmannanshire Sports Council
- Junior Sports Personality of the Year
- Senior Sports Personality of the Year
- Team of the Year
- Triumph over Adversity
- Services to Sport - presented by S.A.L.S.C in conjunction with Sportscotland
- Enid Barton - Coach of the Year
Arts Forum Awards - sponsored by the Clackmannanshire Arts Forum
- Visual Arts Award
- Craft Award
- Performing Arts Award
- Music - Individual / Band
- Junior Award (must be 16 years or under at closing date of nominations)
- Outstanding contribution to the Arts
Enterprise in Education Award - sponsored by Determined to
Succeed
- School / Business Partnership
The finalists from the nominations will be invited to attend an award ceremony on Thursday, 26th February in Alloa Town Hall.
If you would like to nominate an individual or a group for any of the categories, please complete our online nomination form. Alternatively you can download, print, complete and return a paper nomination form.
The closing date for nominations is 23rd January 2009.
