Clackmannanshire Works provides support to individuals and businesses to promote a healthy labour market in Clackmannanshire.

We aim to support business to develop and grow and individuals to develop the skills and attributes that businesses need.

How we can support you will depend on your individual circumstances but may include

A dedicated key worker who will work with you on a one-to-one basis and can meet with you out with our offices, if preferred,
voluntary placements or training courses to help build your skills, experience and confidence,
support to get training you need to take up a definite job offer,
information and support with becoming self-employed or setting up a business,
help with finding and funding childcare so that you can attend training or take up a job offer or whilst you claim Child Tax Credit,
help to build confidence and self esteem,
Partnership Action for Continuing Employment (PACE) redundancy advice and counselling if you are under threat of redundancy and unemployment. We will need to see if you are eligible before we provide support.

Support with starting up your business including developing business plans, finance, marketing, HR and many other issues,
support to develop the skills and attributes of your employees to match your business needs,
support with recruitment and retention of staff,
support if you're considering redundancies to look at alternative ways to reduce costs without laying off valued staff,
Partnership Action for Continuing Employment (PACE) advice and support if you do have to make staff redundant.
