Council for Voluntary Services

CVS ClackmannanshireHow can being a member of a Council for Voluntary Services (CVS) be beneficial?

  • Managed by representatives of voluntary and community groups, it offers an independent voice.
  • CVS can provide training and support to groups.
  • Member groups can get help and advice with funding, equipment and premises.
  • Voluntary and community groups' views will be represented to the local authority and other agencies.

Most areas of Scotland have a Council for Voluntary Services. In Clackmannanshire, representatives of voluntary and community groups, Clackmannanshire Council and Scottish Enterprise Forth Valley formed a steering group and created one.
