The Duke of Edinburgh's Award offers an individual challenge and encourages young people to undertake exciting, constructive, challenging and enjoyable activities in their free time.
The Award is a four section programme with three progressive levels:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
The sections involve
- Volunteering
- Helping the community.
- Skills
- Hobby, skill or interest.
- Physical
- Sports, dance, fitness.
- Expeditions
- On foot, cycle, horseback, or water.
- Residential
- Additional section for those doing their Gold Award which involves spending five days and four nights away from home on a shared activity with people you've never met before.

Interested?
The Duke of Edinburgh's Open Award Groups in both Stirling and Clackmannanshire are keen to hear from interested young people between the ages of 14 - 25 years.
