Event details - St Andrews Day Celebration of Dance: Day time dancing and Evening Ceilidh
Alloa Town Centre - Saturday 28th November 2009
A celebration of Scotland’s contemporary and traditional culture will mark St Andrew's Day and provide a finale to the county's Year of Homecoming.
Working with the Scottish Traditions of Dance Trust, the Council is organising outdoor activities including dance, music and re-enactment demonstrations.
Day time dancing
There will also be a chance to be part of a record breaking attempt at the largest community Virginia Reel in Alloa town centre. Make sure you are in the town centre by 3.00 pm to take part of the celebration.
Evening Ceilidh
The day’s festivities end with a St Andrew’s night ceilidh held in Alloa Town Hall.

- The fun starts in the High Street from 1pm. To take part in the world record breaking attempt be there by 3pm. The evening ceilidh starts at 7.30pm.
