Graffiti and Vandalism

Graffiti imageResidents and visitors to Clackmannanshire often remark on the natural beauty of the area. This impression can often be marred by unsightly graffiti or vandalism to the county's amenities.

High visibility patrols help to deter the damage being caused. In addition to patrolling the area, the Wardens take swift action to arrange the removal of graffiti and report vandalism to the appropriate department to enable repairs to be carried out. Their close working relationship with the Environmental Link Warden and the local Community Police Officers helps to promote Clackmannanshire as a clean and safe place to live, work or visit.

Close links with the local community have helped the Wardens, not only to identify those responsible for damage, but to prevent further cases of this anti-social behaviour occurring.
