Grant Funding & Financial Assistance
Clackmannanshire Council administers several types of grant funding. Links to these are listed below.
- Community Chest
Funding assistance to help local groups and individuals fund activities which would not be possible without financial assistance. - School Clothing Grants
A grant to assist parents on low incomes to purchase school clothing for their children. - Free School Meals
Pupils of parents on low incomes are entitled to free school meals. - Clackmannanshire Educational Trust
Small grants available for educational purposes to residents of Clackmannanshire. - Clackmannan District Charitable Trust
Small grants available for essential household items. - Spittal Trust
Small grants available for essential household items. - The Clackmannanshire District Brass Band
Grant aid to promote the provision of band music for the residents of Clackmannanshire. - The Comrie Trust
Grant available for improving the amenities of the Town of Tillicoultry or for providing recreational facilities for the inhabitants of Tillicoultry. - Clackmannanshire Community Grant
Grant of up to £500 for Clackmannanshire villages or communities to help fund one community celebration in that area each year. - Old Age Pensioner (OAP) Associations
Small grants to properly constituted community organisations to assist with the funding of Christmas lunch for members who are old age pensioners. - Home Energy Grants and Schemes
Discounted loft and cavity wall insulation to homeowners in Clackmannanshire and information on energy assistance packages.

- CFSLA Payroll Lottery Committee consider applications from Charity, Community and Voluntary Groups for assistance.
- The Clackmannanshire and Stirling Environment Trust
- The Trust was set up to distribute funds raised under the Landfill Communities Fund.
- Scottish Community Foundation
- EDF Burnfoot Hill Community Fund
- The fund is provided by EDF Energy Renewables, the developer of the Burnfoot Hill Wind Farm. It benefits the community council areas of Alva, Dollar & Tillicoultry in Clackmannanshire and Blackford in Perth and Kinross.
