Muckhart War Memorial

Situated adjacent to the Coronation Hall in the village of Muckhart, this memorial occupies a small site of approximately forty-five square metres. The site is bounded on three sides by a mature evergreen hedge with an open side facing the main A91 trunk road. There is a low stone wall with saddle cope to the main road with a central four metre opening with a one hundred and fifty millimetre step down to the public footpath. There is uniform concrete paving around the memorial
The memorial comprises a large irregular monolith stone of remembrance on a two-step concrete base. The World War One bronze plaque is set into the main stone with the World War Two plaque planted on the upper concrete base each having raised lettering.
