Regeneration Outcome Agreement

Clackmannanshire AllianceThe Regeneration Outcome Agreement, or ROA as it is known, is a document which sets out a regeneration strategy for those areas of Clackmannanshire which come within the most deprived 15% of areas in Scotland.

In Clackmannanshire's case, those areas covered by the ROA are:

  • Alloa South & East (former SIP area)
  • Tullibody
  • part of Sauchie
  • part of Coalsnaughton & Devonside

ROA Objectives

The ROA has 3 main objectives with their associated outcomes, are:

Community Safety
  • Reduced fear of crime and antisocial behaviour both inside and outside the home
  • Reduction in crime
  • Making the public environment safer and more attractive
Economic Development
  • Increased economic activity rates
  • Increased enterprise through investment and supporting business growth
  • Enhanced skills and qualifications
Improving Health
  • Increase in the number of people exercising healthier food choices
  • Increase in levels of participation and access to safe opportunities for physical activity
  • Reduction in number of smokers
  • Reduction in drugs misuse
  • Increase in proportion of P1 children with no obvious dental disease
  • Improved mental health and wellbeing
