2001 Scottish Census Statistics

The Census of Population is the main source of small area statistics on population. The Census is taken every 10 years: the last was held on Sunday 29th April 2001.

A copy of the full 2001 Population Report, the accompanying news release and further supporting material is available on the General Register Office for Scotland (GROS) website.
