Angela Leitch, Chief Executive
The Chief Executive's Service is responsible for overall policy direction and co-ordination in the Council. Within the structure, the remit covers economic development, corporate policy, emergency planning, communications & marketing and administration and legal services.
Increasingly local government involves working in partnership with other agencies. The Chief Executive's Service leads the Council's community planning process and acts as an advocate for Clackmannanshire.

- Strategic Policy
Responsible for strategic Economic Development, Corporate Policy, Communications & Marketing, Community Safety, Community Planning, Research & Information and regeneration; - Administration and Legal Services
Provides a range of support services to Councillors, legal advice and assistance to other Council Services, and delivery of a range of services such as licensing, registration, internal business support, committee administration and elections; - Emergency Planning
The Emergency Planning Unit provides advice and training to all Council services and co-ordinates their preparation of plans to respond in the event of a major emergency.
