Regulatory Committee (formerly the Regulatory Sub Committee)
The Regulatory Committee is responsible for the hearing of appeals against officer decisions in respect of licences issued under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 and regarding suspension or amendment of a premises approval as provided for under the Marriages (Scotland) Act 2002. This Committee also considers appeal hearings requested by individuals who have been served with fixed penalty notices under the Smoking, Health and Social Care (Scotland) Act 2005.
