Community Council Elections
Community Councils form a link between Clackmannanshire Council and local areas.
Petitions to establish Community Councils in Alloa; Tillicoultry, Coalsnaughton & Devonside and Sauchie & Fishcross have been accepted by the Chief Executive of Clackmannanshire Council. We are now moving to the nomination stage and would like to invite residents of these areas to consider becoming a Community Councillor.
The nomination process is simple - just fill out one of our nomination forms and get two people to support you. Anyone who is over the age of 16 and who appears on our electoral roll can stand.

NOTICE OF ELECTION
I. Elections are to be held for members to serve on the Clackmannanshire Community Councils listed below:-

II. Nomination forms, which must be returned no later than 5 pm Thursday,
16 February, may be obtained from the Returning Officer at:-

III. If the election is contested, a Notice of Poll will be published on1st March and voting will be via a postal ballot system. Results of the Election(s) will be declared on Friday 23 March 2012.
