Criminal Justice Services  Bookmark and Share

The Criminal Justice Services are part of Clackmannanshire Council's Social Services and provide a variety of services to Courts and Prisons which includes:

  1. Prison Social Work Unit
    • Risk Assessment and management
    • Enhanced throughcare services
    • Parole and life sentence prisoner reports
    • Structured interventions
    • Contribute to management reports
    • Prisoner Admissions/Inductions
    • Substance Misuse Referrals and Assessments
    • Mental Health support
  2. Criminal Justice Service Community Team
    • Public protection work including multi-agency risk assessment and management
    • Reports to Courts, Parole Board and Scottish Prison Service
    • Supervision of statutory orders
    • Court and office duty provision
    • Diversion service to Procurator Fiscal Service
    • Bail service to Alloa Sheriff Court
    • Provision of specialist services to people convicted of sex offences and domestic violence
    • Voluntary and statutory services to serving prisoners
