Job opportunities on Election Day
The next election event to take place will be the Local Government election in May 2012. If you are interested in working at the elections, we have noted below the types of jobs that we need to fill.
Opportunity Types
- Presiding Officer - To be responsible for the conduct of the ballot and to run a Polling Station during Polling Day. Please see job description for further details of the duties and the skills, experience & knowledge required.
- Polling Clerk - To assist the Presiding Officer at a Polling Station during the hours of poll on election day. Please see job description for further details of the duties and the skills, experience & knowledge required.
- Enumerator - To work at the counting of votes cast. Please see job description for further details of the duties and the skills, experience & knowledge required.
