EU Procurement  Bookmark and Share

This section gives information on EU Directives and UK Regulations relating to Public Sector Procurement.

The Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 and the Utilities Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 came into force on 31st January 2006. Separate legislation covering England, Wales and Northern Ireland also came into force on that day.

Public Procurement Directive 2004/18/EC and the Utilities Directive 2004/17/EC have been implemented into Scots Law by the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (SSI 2006/1) and the Utilities Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (SSI 2006/2).

Changes to the Public Procurement Thresholds from 1st January 2010

The thresholds at which the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 and the Utilities (Scotland) Regulations 2006 apply from 1 January 2010.
