Protected Trees Application
Prior to felling or lopping of any trees within Clackmannanshire it is advisable to contact the Development Quality Team to determine if planning permission is required for the works proposed.
Trees within Clackmannanshire are normally protected either by a Tree Preservation Order, are within a specific conservation area or are protected by a planning condition.
It is important to be informed of the planning restriction on vegetation removal prior to any works being undertaken to avoid prosecution from Council.
If a specific tree is protected a planning application will be required for any works proposed. With any application you will be required to submit plans of the works proposed and sufficient justification (arborits report) for the felling proposed.
