Governance Team
The Governance Team are based at Clackmannanshire Council's headquarters in Greenfield. Our role is to provide a range of support services, advice and assistance to other Council Services, and to support the Returning Officer with the delivery all elections in the area.
Internally, we provide legal advice and support to the Council and its services.
We deliver the Human Resources function and co-ordinate procurement activity. We also manage the central co-ordination of the council's responsibilities in relation to data protection and freedom of information.
We are unable to provide advice and assistance directly to the public. For advice on personal issues such as divorce, separation, family matters and matrimonial property, you should contact your local Citizens' Advice Bureau, Law Centre or your own Solicitor.
