Migrant Workers in Clackmannanshire 2005 2006

The Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) has responsibility for the allocation of National Insurance numbers to overseas nationals. Statistics refer only to the inflow of migrant workers, as there is presently no system to check those who depart the UK after receiving a National Insurance number, nor show any length of stay. It should be noted that figures show the area of residence where an application was made, however, applicants may not continue to live there and may work in another area. Please see below for summary information or for more details follow link to the briefing note on Migrant Workers in Clackmannanshire 2005 2006. This page will next be updated in March 2008.
