Public Service Improvement Framework

PSIF Model

PSIF Logo

In January 2008 the council adopted the Public Service Improvement Framework (PSIF) as a basis for determining continuous improvement and Best Value arrangements. A rolling programme of PSIF assessments is now in place, replacing the previous rolling programme of Best Value Reviews.

The PSIF model has been adapted by the council and has been renamed the Clackmannanshire Improvement Model, a central component of the council's change programme: Growing in Excellence. This model is integrated with our Leadership Development programme and a corporate commitment to the Customer Service Excellence and Investors in People quality frameworks. The CIM programme of around 25 assessments, covering all council services, will be completed by the 31st of March 2010.
