Services to People

Services to People brings a unified management structure to a very broad range of public services, which function to meet the individual needs of the people of Clackmannanshire. It includes all services in the areas of education and social services, both adult and childcare, criminal justice and the social work service for Glenochil Prison.

The service is divided into 2 divisions. These are:

Shared Services

In December 2010, Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils agreed to deliver Education and Social Services in partnership. You can refer to our Shared Services web page for more information.

Objectives

The three main objectives of Services to People are:

  1. Supporting individuals by enriching their life experience thereby aiding them to realise their full potential.
  2. Promoting individual well being by tackling inequality, lessening hardship and providing care to those who need it.
  3. Providing environments that enhance the strength of and increase the feeling of safety in local communities.
