Statutory Performance Indicators
Every local authority is required to record their performance against a range of indicators set by the Accounts Commission. This information is collated and published by Audit Scotland annually. Their reports show trends over time and allow comparisons to be made between local authorities. You can find a full, up-to-date report on Clackmannanshire Council's Statutory Performance Indicators (SPIs) on Audit Scotland's Performance Information Site, including each council's rankings for 2008-09.
