The Library offers computer skills training courses at a basic level. The course helps develop skills including; keyboard/mouse, learning how to use Microsoft Word to searching online inc. Outreach ICT Tutor
The library offers half hour bookable appointments at various locations thoughout Clackmannanshire. These sessions are available for you to speak to our IT Tutor about your specific IT issues e.g. Ebooks, tablets and job seeking.

The IT tutor is available Thursday mornings in the Speirs Centre 9.30-12 to assist with any of your IT problems.
The tutor is also available on the first Thursday afternoon of every month in Alva CAP from 1.30-4.
Forth Valley college offers Adult Learning Programs to help develop your reading, writing and number skills. Additionally Clackmannanshire Adult Literacies supports adult learners who wish to improve their reading, writing, spelling, number and basic budgeting skills. This provision is free to all adults living in Clackmannanshire.
Skills development Scotland offers young people advice on how to build a CV and helps you find employment opportunities. Clacks Works offers a similar service for all ages.

The library stocks DVLA CD's and Highway Code books to help you Pass your test. The government's website provides mock driving theory tests to help you enhance your skills.
