Web 4 U is a public computer service at a library near you. Part of "New Library - The People’s Network", Web 4 U brings the latest high spec computers to Clackmannanshire with free access to the internet for all.
Computers have been installed in every library in Clackmannanshire using the latest technology. All the libraries in the area are networked together at a local level, linked to a national network and the Internet.

- Where can I use Web 4 U?
The service is now available in libraries in Alloa, Clackmannan, Sauchie, Tullibody, Alva, Dollar, Menstrie and Tillicoultry.
- How many computers are available?
Each library has a suite of PCs depending on the size of the library. For instance, Alloa has 9 while Dollar has 5. There are also larger monitors and special software for the visually impaired.
- What does Web 4 U provide and how much does it cost?
Internet access, word processing and e-mail facilities are completely free. Scanning and CD-Rom writing facilities are included, but a small charge is made for paper print-outs and CD-Roms.
- Will there be anyone to help me?
Yes. Specially trained staff are available at all times. They will act as 'human search engines'. Let them know what kind of information you are looking for and they will point you in the right direction.
- Is Web 4 U only for adults?
No, it’s for everyone! WEB 4 U provides safe on-line fun and learning for children. Children under eleven will need to be accompanied by an adult.
- Do I need to book in advance?
No. Our electronic booking system allows bookings to be made at any library for any PC at any of our libraries. You may of course just visit the library. Once you have registered as a user you may book any PC which happens to be free at the time.
