Writers in Residence
Tom Murray and Stuart Hepburn are the area's writers in residence.
If you are a local resident and are interested in creative writing then Tom and Stuart are interested in hearing from you.
Their 18 month residency is supported by the Scottish Arts Council pARTners programme in conjunction with Cultural and Community Services.
Whatever level your writing is at, whether you are interested in developing your skills, are looking for advice or feedback or simply someone to bounce ideas off they want to hear from you.
Stuart and Tom welcome contact from people of all ages including:
- budding poets;
- novelists;
- scriptwriters;
- individuals;
- groups.
They are available for individual consultations from 3.00 - 7:00 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays at Alloa Library.
Stories and Poems sought
We are currently looking for stories and poems from local writers to include in a new anthology called Unheard Voices. The deadline for submission is 18th July 2008.
