Bulky Uplifts
What type of service do we offer?
Clackmannanshire Council provides a 'bulky uplift' service for the removal of household waste that is too big to fit into your bin. Examples of the type of waste might include broken furniture, domestic appliances, carpets, cardboard, etc.
How much does it cost?
Private Tenants
Private householders are charged £31.51 per uplift (from April 2012). All chargeable uplifts must be paid in advance.
Council Tenants
For Clackmannanshire Council tenants, the charge of £31.51 is covered by the rent tenants pay to the Housing Revenue Account (HRA). The number of uplifts available to tenants in the year is subject to the approved housing budget, and thereafter tenant requests will be subject to charging.
Paragon and Ochil View Tenants
Paragon Housing Association tenants are entitled to multiple uplifts as the charge is paid from the rent. Ochil View tenants may be entitled to a discounted rate dependent on location, please call Ochil View Housing on Tel: 01259 722899 for details.
Commercial Waste
Clackmannanshire Council also provides a Commercial Waste services. Prices vary dependent on bin size chosen and frequency of collection. Please call 01259 450000 to arrange this service.

Our service standard
We will carry out the uplift within 5 working days. We apologise if there are slight delays during peak times and holiday periods.

Health & Safety
Please consider fire safety when storing materials to be uplifted. It is not good practice to store an item in a close or against a building as this is classed as a fire hazard.
