Countryside Ranger Service logoMission Statement:

To promote, protect and enhance the wildlife, landscape and recreational opportunities in Clackmannanshire's countryside and encourage responsible and caring attitudes.

Clackmannanshire Ranger Service has four main aims.

  1. Ensuring a welcome for visitors to the countryside.
  2. Mediation between public use and other rural land uses.
  3. Promoting awareness and understanding of the countryside.
  4. Caring for and enhancing the natural heritage.

The Ranger Service fulfils a county-wide role, but focusses on countryside areas owned or controlled by Clackmannanshire Council.
