Glenochil Nursery 

The recycling facility will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and from New Years Day to the 5th January.

The Council operates a plant nursery between Menstrie and Alva.

Plants

The nursery provides us with many of the plants we use on our landscaped areas around the county.

Recycling

The site also has a 'Green' recycling facility where you can bring trees branches, Christmas trees and other organic material to be chipped for use as a mulch.

Proposed Summer and Autumn Open Days in 2009

We frequently hold open days where we sell surplus plants and offer advice on plant growth and maintenance.

• Summer open days and surplus plant sales

  Monday 8th June to Thursday 11th June. Open daily 11:00am to 3:00pm

• Autumn open days and surplus plant/bulb sales

  Monday 12th October to Wednesday 14nd October. Open daily 11:00am to 3:00pm

Special Visits, Guided Tours and Demonstrations
