Leisure Pool Water Quality
We monitor swimming pool water quality on a regular basis. We carry out a basic chemical analysis and take a sample back to the laboratory to carry out bacteriological analysis. This provides an independent check of the pool water quality and if there are problems, we can give advice on possible causes and remedies. The parameters we test for include chlorine levels, pH and bacterial testing for total viable count, e. coli and coliforms. The tests are carried out in addition to the pool operators own testing regime.
Our testing is currently carried out at the Alloa Leisure Bowl, Struan House, Dollar Academy and Alva Community Leisure Complex leisure pools.
