Out of Hours Noise Team

New Antisocial Behaviour Legislation gives Local Authorities more powers to tackle Domestic Noise.

Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils have jointly set up an "Out of Hours Noise Team", which operates from 8.00 pm - 3.00 am Thursday - Saturday evenings. Where people refuse to comply with requests to keep the noise down, Fixed Penalty notices of £100 can be issued. Further non-compliance can lead to confiscation of equipment and fines of up to £1000.
