Learning English / English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
If you would like to learn English, regular classes or tutoring are available:
Classes cost £30.00 and include
- 6 weeks' expert tuition (1 x 2hr class/week) with the possibility of extra one-to-one sessions with a trained voluntary English language assistant,
- student course book, student work book, CD ROM and mini-dictionary (retail value £34), or the relevant course materials
- citizenship content and offer access to preparation for the 'Life in the UK' test,
- enhanced career prospects and opportunity for progression to further education,
- access to the Clackmannanshire's ESOL learners' library,
- opportunity for social networking with regular events,
- monthly coffee and conversation club,
- opportunity to meet with other learners, the Association for Migrant Integration, trained volunteer English language assistants and other community organisations.
