School Library Support Service  Bookmark and Share

Alloa Library houses a central resource collection whose main purpose is to provide books and audiovisual materials to primary schools, nursery schools, pre-5 establishments, primary and secondary services and special schools.

Project Service

We have a wide range of audiovisual material, fiction and non-fiction books available for every age level to support curriculum delivery in the classroom. These materials are available through the Project Request Service and are selected for you by library staff and delivered to your school.

Periodicals

Photocopied title pages from periodicals relevant to educational needs are circulated to all schools on a regular basis. Requests can be made for copies of articles on a photocopy request and declaration form.

Opening Hours

You may visit the service between: 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday throughout the year. Please telephone in advance of your visit.
