Trail Cycle Leader Assessment
As a result of the Adventure Activities Young Persons' Safety Act, Scottish Cycling introduced the Trail Cycle Leader award. The course lasts for 2 days with an additional 1 day assessment and will be held at Gartmorn Country Park.
The award allows the holder to lead groups on public highways, way marked routes, rights of way on which cycles are permitted, routes, tracks and trails with obvious navigational features and with low to medium technical difficulty, below 600 metres in height and not remote.
Assessment dates for 2012
- 15th June: Fee - £70.00
- 24th June: Fee - £70.00
- 5th October: Fee - £70.00
- 7th October: Fee - £70.00
