This section contains Building Warrant application and associated forms that are available to download. Once completed, applications should be posted or hand delivered to the Building Standards Team at the address detailed at the bottom of this page.

Building Standards system

There are currently 2 systems in practice:

  • Current system (2003 Act) - applications submitted after 1st May 2005
  • Previous system (1959 & 1970) - applications submitted prior to the above date

Please note that the forms below are for applications submitted under the current system (i.e. after 1st May 2005) only. If you require forms for applications made prior to this date (which includes amendments to the original warrant) then please contact Building Standards direct using the details at the bottom of this page.
