Decision Notices

The changes in legislation have implications for decisions issued by the Council. In additional to the information we previously provided, each decision notice will explain the duration of any consent that is granted, identify drawing numbers to which the decision relates, refer to any legal agreement associated with the decision and explain the reasons for the Council's decision in every case. Previously, reasons only had to be given when the application for planning permission was refused.

We have annexed to each decision notice, notes for guidance and appropriate notices for submission and/or display on site. These are important and contain advice on rights of appeal or review, implementation of approved developments and enforcement of conditions.

If you have submitted representations on an application, we may provide you with details of the decision, together with an explanation of our assessment of your comments and how they contributed to the decision.

Copies of all decision notices, together with plans, application forms, and reports of handling are available online via the ePlanning pages www.clacks.gov.uk/eplanning
