Freedom of Information Publication Scheme
The Council is keen to ensure that the wealth of information it holds can be easily shared appropriately with those interested - a significant amount of information is readily available to enquirers, either directly through our website or on request.
The Council also has an obligation under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act to produce a Publication Scheme.
The publication scheme illustrates what information Clackmannanshire Council makes routinely available, how it can be accessed, in what format the information is available and whether or not we make a charge for it.
The Scheme, which is approved by the Scottish Information Commissioner, is accessible from this web page. It is also available in paper format at the Council's main office at Greenfield, Alloa, as well as local libraries. Additionally, the Council will make paper copies available on request.
The Publication Scheme is in two parts - firstly an introduction to how the Council approaches freedom of information, access to, and charges for information.
The second part is a table of the information we can routinely provide. This list is broken down into 'classes' or sections eg Community, Life and Leisure, with how to/whom to contact to access the required information noted along side.
