Licence - Private Hire Operators
If you are applying, registering or giving notification for this particular licence then you can arrange for the Licensing Administrator to send you the application/registration form you require or for you to collect forms at the Council's main office at Kilncraigs. You can also download a PDF of the form on the Licensing Application Forms page and lodge the completed form with the appropriate fee and necessary supporting documents with the Licensing Administrator by post or by calling at Kilncraigs.
A Licence is required to operate a business that will accept bookings by prior arrangement. The car will not be licensed to pick up passengers from the street or at a taxi rank. Once registered, the car will display Clackmannanshire Council approved plates detailing the expiry date of the current Licence.
We aim to complete the paperwork within 6 weeks from the receipt of all the appropriate information and payment of the requested licence fee.
