Moving Home and Your Child's Attendance
Although most children attend their catchment school, parents have a right to ask the Council for their child to have a place in any of the Council’s schools. This is called a placing request.
If you move home, it is important that you let your child’s school know your new address and contact details. This leaflet explains your choices if you move home from one school catchment area to another.
