Quality Policy Statement

We will provide a high quality service to people with disabilities and their families. The service aims to provide opportunities to help individuals maintain and develop their potential for independence and self determination.

We will ensure that our staff are appropriately skilled, trained and qualified and continue to invest in training and development at all levels. We will recognise the efforts of our staff and encourage their commitment and motivation.

We will build on existing partnerships and develop new partnerships with other services and agencies in our community. We aim to promote awareness of issues that prevent social inclusion and equality of access. Our approach will promote choice, joint working and sharing of resources to improve the quality of life of our service users.

We will provide clear and easily understood information about our services. We will seek and listen to the views of service users.

The service is inspected and registered by the Care Commission and their Inspection reports are available to view or a copy can be obtained from ourselves.

The service has been awarded an ISO 9001:2000 Certificate. ISO stands for International Standards Organisation. Adult Day Services are continually working to improve the service. The system is internally and externally audited and inspected annually.
