Older People Services
Clackmannanshire Council Social Services provides a large variety of care for the elderly, including
- Home Care;
- Mobile Emergency Care;
- Day Care;
- Residential Care - Menstrie House;
- Meals on Wheels;
- Respite Care;
- Care for the visually or physically impaired;
- Provision of equipment or adaptations in their own homes to make continued living at home a possibility.
Social Services Adult Assessment Teams
Three Social Services Adult Assessment Teams are located in the Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre, Sauchie:
- Intake/Duty team covering all areas in Clackmannanshire;
- Hillfoots area team;
- Alloa area team.
Staff from these teams will be happy to offer guidance and advice to you on the services they can offer.
The Intake/Duty team are available Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm and can be contacted by using the details at the bottom of this page.
Emergency Duty Team
An Emergency Duty Team (EDT), based in Stirling, operates outwith normal working hours. They can be contacted by telephoning 01786 470500.
