Integrated Mental Health Day Service - Electronic Referral Service
The Electronic Referral System is a joint project with the eHealth Team and allows all primary care referrals to be made electronically, through the SCI Gateway, using a common template. These developments have offered a local solution to local issues within Clackmannanshire. We are in the process of extending this to referrals within the integrated service and to set up a system for social work referrals to be received electronically.
The key objectives of the Single Referral Pathway and the Electronic Referral System are:
- Reduction in waiting times
- Improved access to services
- Ensuring the most appropriate service is accessed at the earliest opportunity
- Promoting the principles of social inclusion
- Effective utilisation of all available resources
